Gorana Barišić Bačelić, mag. art. hist.

Gorana Barišić Bačelić is an expert in the management and interpretation of cultural heritage. She leads the Cultural Fortress Sibenik, a public institution in culture that takes care of the revitalized Šibenik Fortresses of St. Mihovila and Barone, where she runs various projects: from organizing cultural events to EU funds management projects.

She graduated Art history, English Language and Literature at the Faculty of Philosophy in Zadar and was the author of a number of museum educational editions and professional articles.Cultural management has been demolished through two years of education at the De Vos Institute of the University of Maryland, National Intensive Arts Management, organized by the Ministry of Culture.

She worked as a museum pedagogue, organizer of exhibitions and festivals, and as a tourist guide.

She has participated in numerous congresses and seminars on culture, heritage and museums, and for her work within the Cultural Fortress Šibenik she has won a number of prestigious awards.
