Biography
Dobrila Vlahović, Conservatory restorer, Magistrate Architect Faculty of Architecture in Podgorica, on Protection and revitalization of the architectural heritage.
From 1996-2011. worked in the Republic Institute for the Protection of Cultural Monuments – Cetinje, and by 2013 in the Directorate for the Protection of Cultural Property. Her longstanding work is dedicated to the protection and preservation of cultural heritage, where she has worked on the most complex jobs and participated in numerous projects and strategies of national and international significance.
From 2010 to 2012, she was Montenegro’s representative to the Committee for Cultural and Natural Heritage and Landscape of the Council of Europe (CDPATEP). Today she is a member of the board of directors of Montenegrin and a member of the international ICOMOS.
She is the author of numerous bibliographic units in the field of protection and preservation of cultural heritage, and she also had numerous presentations at international and national conferences.
Since 2013, she has been employed by the Ministry of Culture, as a expert for immovable Cultural Heritage.
